Job Details:

• Location: Cardiff

• Salary: £92.59 per day minimum 

• Employment type: Full time - Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of pupils with complex emotional, social, and behavioural needs? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a specialised support centre in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support KS3/KS4 pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and complex behaviour in a bespoke support centre.

• Help pupils build self-regulation strategies to successfully return to mainstream secondary classes.

• Work closely with subject teachers, Heads of Year and ALNco.

Requirements:

• Experience or interest in working with secondary pupils with ALN, emotional wellbeing, or behavioural needs.

• Strong communication skills, resilience, and a patient approach.

• Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.

• Active EWC registration, or willingness to register before starting.
