Provide Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the DN3 area of Doncaster from September.
The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil, helping them to access learning, develop positive relationships and manage challenges throughout the school day.
The pupil can present with challenging behaviour and mental health needs, so we are looking for someone who is calm, patient and confident in supporting children who may require additional emotional and behavioural support.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children with SEND and/or challenging behaviour
- Be confident providing 1:1 support
- Have a calm, patient and consistent approach
- Be able to build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
- Understand the importance of supporting emotional wellbeing and mental health
- Be resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations
- Work effectively as part of a wider school team
- Location: DN3, Doncaster
- Start: September
- Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Year group: Year 4
- Support: 1:1 SEND
- Duration: Ongoing / full academic year
