TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming SEND setting in Rotherham, seeking a Team Teach Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The setting provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential through personalised learning and positive behaviour strategies.

The school is looking to appoint a Team Teach Qualified Teaching Assistant on a full-time, short-term basis starting in September. The successful Team Teach Qualified Teaching Assistant will support pupils from KS1 through to KS4, all based within one classroom, working closely with students with SEMH, ADHD, complex needs and communication difficulties, providing both 1:1 and small group support while promoting positive behaviour and engagement.

The successful Team Teach Qualified Teaching Assistant will have:

• Team Teach qualification
• Experience working within a SEND setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, complex needs and communication difficulties
• Confidence supporting pupils across KS1 to KS4
• Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach
