Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to external engineers.
• Interpret technical information and explain it clearly and confidently.
• Understand customer requirements and deliver advice with clarity and diplomacy.
• Deliver world‑class customer service while meeting KPI‑driven performance targets.
• Use strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose potential faults accurately.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

• GCSE Grade 4 or above or an equivalent qualification in English
• Passion for customer service
• Good problem-solving aptitude
• Computer literate with previous experience using all Microsoft applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience supporting engineers or customers within a technical, engineering, heating, electrical or mechanical environment.
• Experience reading technical manuals, wiring diagrams or installation instructions.
• Previous telephone-based technical support experience.

Role: Technical Advisor

Location: Belper, Derbyshire

Salary: £28,500 per annum
