Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an experienced Technical Asset (Manager) Analyst to support a major asset verification and data quality programme across a national property portfolio.
Job Overview
This is a highly analytical and compliance-focused role responsible for reviewing, validating and quality assuring building asset information. The aim is to ensure all data is accurate, complete, compliant and fit for operational use across a large-scale property portfolio.
Working within the Asset Verification and Data Validation (AV/DV) team, you will assess incoming M&E and building fabric asset survey data, ensuring assets are correctly identified, classified and aligned with statutory maintenance requirements and SFG20 standards. This role is office-based and does not involve conducting physical surveys, with a primary focus on reviewing asset registers, survey outputs, floor plans and technical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate incoming M&E and building fabric asset data
- Verify assets against existing client asset registers and maintenance records
- Ensure building, floor and room data aligns with survey documentation and floor plans
- Validate asset naming conventions and maintenance classifications
- Confirm alignment of assets to SFG20 maintenance schedules
- Identify missing, duplicate or incorrectly categorised assets
- Perform detailed quality assurance checks across large volumes of asset information
- Maintain document control, audit trails and version management processes
About You / Person Specification
- Experience in asset compliance management, asset management, lifecycle asset management or building services asset management
- Proven experience managing, validating or auditing building asset information
- Strong understanding of M&E and building fabric assets
- Knowledge of statutory compliance, planned maintenance and asset management principles
- Experience using CAFM systems such as Maximo and Concept
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach
- Ability to work independently while managing large volumes of technical data
