Technical Coordinator – Residential Developer
Job Type: Permanent, site-based
Salary: Up to £60k plus package
I am working with a growing SME residential developer that specialises in delivering high-quality, sustainable “zero bills” homes.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical Coordinator to join the team on a site-based project in Windsor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking developer with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and quality.
The Role
Working closely with the Technical Manager and wider project team, you will coordinate the design and technical information required to support the successful delivery of the development.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating technical information from architects, engineers and external consultants.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure they are accurate, coordinated and suitable for construction.
- Managing the flow of information between consultants, subcontractors and the site team.
- Responding to technical queries and resolving design issues during construction.
- Monitoring drawing schedules and ensuring information is issued in line with the programme.
- Liaising with planning authorities, building control, warranty providers and utility companies.
- Supporting the discharge of planning conditions and technical approvals.
- Attending design, technical and site progress meetings.
- Ensuring designs comply with current regulations, warranty standards and company requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of sustainable and energy-efficient homes to a high standard.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Technical Coordinator or Assistant Technical Coordinator.
- Experience working for a residential developer, housebuilder or architectural practice.
- A good understanding of residential construction and the development process.
- Experience coordinating architects, engineers and specialist consultants.
- Knowledge of planning, building regulations and warranty requirements.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple technical priorities and meet project deadlines.
- A proactive approach to resolving design and construction issues.
