We are partnering with a globally recognised design studio to recruit an experienced Technical Designer (Revit) for an exciting contract opportunity supporting the delivery of major museum and visitor experience projects across the USA and Middle East.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cultural destinations, immersive exhibition environments, museum fit-outs, and bespoke visitor experiences that will be enjoyed by audiences worldwide.

November 2026 – February 2027
- Supporting an international maritime museum project in the Middle East
As Technical Designer, you will work closely with multidisciplinary design teams to develop and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages using Revit. The role requires strong experience in bespoke joinery, cabinetry detailing, exhibition fit-outs, and technical coordination throughout project delivery.
You will play a key role in transforming creative concepts into technically robust and deliverable design solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed technical drawing packages using Revit
- Develop and coordinate technical design information across project stages
- Create detailed bespoke joinery and cabinetry drawings
- Support museum, exhibition, visitor experience and interior fit-out projects
- Collaborate with international design and project teams
- Resolve technical detailing and coordination challenges
- Ensure drawing quality, consistency, and technical accuracy
- Assist project teams throughout design development and delivery phases
- Advanced Revit skills and technical drawing expertise
- Experience producing construction and technical drawing packages
- Strong background in bespoke joinery and cabinetry detailing
- Experience delivering interior fit-out projects
- Excellent technical coordination skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Museum, exhibition, visitor attraction, or visitor experience projects
- Retail design or shopfitting experience
- Cultural, experiential, or themed environments
- International project experience
- Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes
We offer a flexible hybrid working model including:
- Ideally 2–3 days per week in the Leicester studio
- Flexibility for 1 day per week attendance
- Monthly studio visits may be considered for exceptional candidates
- Remote working options available depending on experience
- Outside IR35 contract
- Competitive hourly rate (£40–£45 per hour)
