Salary: Up to £36,000 DoE + individual performance-related bonus

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to a high standard, while ensuring vehicles are inspected and prepared safely and efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
·Completing MOT tests to DVSA standards
·Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
·Conducting vehicle health checks
·Carrying out road tests where required
·Identifying additional work and communicating findings clearly
·Completing repair orders accurately, including fault cause and rectification
·Working efficiently to agreed timescales and productivity targets
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship and minimising repeat repairs
·Following manufacturer and company procedures
·Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
·Looking after customer vehicles while they are in your care
 
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who has:
·Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent automotive qualification
·Current MOT Tester qualification
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
·A good understanding of vehicle servicing and repair
·A full UK driving licence
·High standards of workmanship
·A proactive approach and good attention to detail
·The ability to work efficiently as part of a busy workshop team
Franchise/dealership experience would be advantageous, although ongoing manufacturer training is available.
