Job Title: Telehandler / Telescopic Handler Driver

Location: Maidstone, Kent (ME14 / ME15)

Start Date: Immediate Start (ASAP)

Contract Duration: Work running through to the end of October 2026.

Pay Rate: £20.00 - £22.00 per hour (dependent on experience and pay type)

We are urgently looking for an experienced Telehandler Driver for an immediate start on a busy commercial build in Maidstone.

This is a short-term cover role running through to the end of October 2026, offering competitive hourly rates and immediate full-time hours for a competent machine operator.

• Safely operating a Telescopic Handler to offload materials from delivery vehicles and move stock across site.

• Supplying materials directly to scaffold lifts, work bays, and site trades (bricklayers, carpenters).

• Conducting daily pre-shift plant checks, basic machine maintenance, and logging any defects.

• Working closely with the Site Manager and Traffic Marshall to maintain site safety and traffic control.

• Assisting with light general site duties during operational machine downtime when required.

• Valid CPCS Card (A17 Telescopic Handler) OR NPORS Card (with CSCS logo essential).

• Full PPE (Steel toe boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience operating telehandlers on active construction sites.

• Confident working on tight or congested site footprints and uneven ground.

• Punctual, dependable, and available to start immediately.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).

• Start Date: Immediate (ASAP).

• Duration: Work running through to the end of October 2026.

• Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
