We are urgently looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Coordinator to provide temporary support for a company based in Weybridge, Surrey. The role is expected to run from the end of October until the end of the year, with a likely potential to be extended due to additional project work.
The successful candidate will sit within the HR team and support the coordination of payroll with an outsourced payroll provider. The key focus will be managing the flow of information between HR and the external provider, ensuring employee data and payroll changes are accurate, up to date and submitted within the required deadlines.
This role would suit someone with a strong HR administration background who has previous experience coordinating payroll with an external provider, rather than someone from a purely payroll or finance-focused background.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating payroll administration with the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring all relevant information is submitted accurately and on time.
- Managing the flow of employee information between HR systems and the external payroll provider.
- Processing and communicating employee changes, including new starters, leavers, salary changes, contractual amendments and absence information.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring HR and payroll data is kept up to date.
- Liaising with the external payroll provider to resolve queries, discrepancies and missing information.
- Supporting payroll checks to ensure information is accurate before and after processing.
- Responding to employee and internal stakeholder queries relating to payroll administration.
- Providing general HR administrative support and assisting with related projects as required.
- Potentially supporting a project to align processes across the company's sister companies and entities.
The role would suit someone with previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Payroll Coordinator or similar HR-focused position, with hands-on experience working with an outsourced payroll provider. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment. Experience using Cascade (IRIS) software would be highly advantageous, alongside confidence managing employee data and coordinating information between internal HR teams and external providers.
