Tenancy Support Worker

You will deliver person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed support through home visits, appointments and partnership working with other agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of refugees and resettled households, completing needs and risk assessments and support plans.
- Support clients with housing, tenancy sustainment, budgeting, welfare benefits, employment and education.
- Help clients access essential services and promote independence, wellbeing and community integration.
- Carry out regular home visits and work closely with partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate case records and complete safeguarding and risk management processes.
- Support vulnerable adults and children in line with relevant policies and GDPR requirements.
You should have:
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults, refugees, asylum seekers or socially excluded groups.
- Knowledge of housing, welfare benefits, safeguarding and tenancy sustainment.
- An understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
- Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
- Good IT and case-recording skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Housing, Advice & Guidance, Community Development or equivalent experience.
- A clean Enhanced DBS.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- The ability to travel throughout Nottinghamshire and work flexibly around service needs.
- £19–£20 per hour
- 37 hours per week
- Minimum 3-month contract with potential for extension
