We are currently looking for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join our client's busy and growing engineering/manufacturing team.
The RoleYou will be responsible for TIG welding and fabricating high-quality components and assemblies, working from engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- TIG welding stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
- Fabricating and assembling components to drawing
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Setting up welding equipment and selecting the correct settings
- Carrying out accurate measurements and quality checks
- Preparing, cutting, bending and fitting materials
- Producing clean, high-quality welds to a high standard
- Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all company health & safety procedures
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator
- Strong TIG welding experience
- Experience working with stainless steel is highly desirable
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good fabrication and fitting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant welding/fabrication experience
