Are you an experienced TIG Welder who is comfortable working with thin materials and producing clean, accurate welds?
This is a permanent opportunity with an aerospace manufacturer in Downton, working on precision components and specialist materials including stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel and titanium.

What you'll be doing
You'll be TIG welding aerospace components, working from engineering drawings and producing clean, accurate welds to the required specification.
The role will involve:
- TIG welding precision aerospace components
- Feed wire TIG welding
- Using a turntable for welding where required
- Working with stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel and titanium
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Working to tight aerospace tolerances
- Producing consistent, high-quality welds
- Carrying out work accurately and paying close attention to detail
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with previous TIG welding experience, ideally from an aerospace or similarly precise engineering environment.
You'll need:
- Previous experience as a TIG Welder
- Experience with feed wire TIG welding
- Experience using a turntable
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience welding materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel or titanium
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances and quality requirements
