Timber Operative

We are recruiting a reliable and hardworking Timber Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Ashford.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available, offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.

The role

• Assemble timber products and components

• Measure, cut and prepare timber materials

• Use hand and power tools safely

• Follow drawings, specifications and instructions

• Check finished products for quality

• Maintain a clean and safe working area

• Work effectively as part of a production team

The ideal candidate

• Previous timber, assembly, manufacturing or construction experience would be beneficial

• Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on work

• Able to perform physical tasks and work accurately

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

• A good understanding of workplace health and safety

• Own transport is essential due to the location

Hours

• Monday to Friday, daytime hours

• 43 hours per week

• Optional overtime available
