The ideal individual should have a strong background in manual machining, supported by a completed apprenticeship in Toolmaking, General Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and bench fitting is essential. The individual must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organisational skills.
