Tour Coordinator

£24,000 per annum, Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:15pm, Permanent, 25 days holiday, Perkbox after probation, company socials.

The Role

An exciting opportunity for a Tour Coordinator to join a well-established travel and educational tours organisation based in Burgess Hill. Reporting to the Tour Coordinator Supervisor, the Tour Coordinator will be responsible for managing tours from confirmation through to completion, ensuring every trip runs smoothly and delivers an excellent experience for customers.

  • Managing tours through the full lifecycle from booking confirmation to post-tour feedback
  • Preparing detailed itineraries and travel plans
  • Coordinating transport, accommodation and tour arrangements
  • Processing bookings, amendments and cancellations
  • Producing travel documentation, travel packs and invoices
  • Building strong relationships with group leaders, suppliers and colleagues
  • Handling customer queries by phone and email
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Supporting inspection visits and tour planning activities
  • Assisting the wider team with administrative duties as required

Requirements

The successful Tour Coordinator will possess excellent organisational and communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Experience within administration, travel, events or customer service environments would be highly desirable. A warm and professional approach, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to remain calm under pressure are all highly desirable. The ability to build strong working relationships and a willingness to go the extra mile are highly desirable attributes for this Tour Coordinator position.

Package

Salary of £24,000 per annum

Monday to Friday working hours, 9:00am-5:15pm

25 days holiday

Perkbox after successful probation

Summer working hours of 10:00am-3:00pm as recognition for additional winter commitments
