Clark James Recruitment are working with a highly professional Wealth Management Business in London.

Due to further expansion within the team our client has an opportunity for a Trainee Financial Adviser (Wealth Manager) to join the business based in our clients London office.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven candidate to deliver first class support to a Senior Wealth Manager and their growing team, whilst continuing the path of becoming a fully qualified Wealth Manager, fully supported by the company and its robust Training and Development.

Role

  • Attend Client Meetings with Wealth Managers.
  • Manage Action Points from Client Meetings.
  • Writing Post Approval Suitability letters and Business Submission.
  • Carry Forward, Annual Allowance, Lifetime Allowance Calculations.
  • Client Financial Review input/updating.
  • Manage Pipeline for Senior Wealth Manager.
  • Analytics using FE Analytics and preparation of detailed Voyant reports.
  • Drawdown Review Letters and Fund Switch Letters.
  • Respond to Client Inquiries (Technical and administrative).
  • Identify Opportunities and Referrals from Existing Clients.
  • Managing workflow through Asana software and Business Trackers.
  • Facilitation of defined benefit transfers.
  • Preparation of Illustrations and Electronic Business Submissions utilising the Blue—door software.
  • Critical Yield Calculations.
  • Manage Outsourced Letter of Authority Process.

Candidate

  • Applicants must demonstrate a professional image and entrepreneurial spirit in both appearance and attitude along with providing quality support on time to agreed standards.
  • This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit an entrepreneurial, confident, motivated, highly organised and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a ‘can do’ working style.
  • You must be able to demonstrate previous work experience within Wealth Management or regulated Financial Services.
  • Applicants must hold the CII diploma or be working towards RO exams.
  • High level of attention to detail & excellent organisation skills.
  • High standard of written & verbal communication skills.
  • Highly IT literate, including advanced MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively.
  • Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task.

Package

  • Basic salary £29,000 - £33,000.
  • Opportunity to earn bonuses.

  • 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home during probation, 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home after successful completion of probation.
