A well-established manufacturer supplying specialist components to a range of high-tech industries is looking to add a Trainee Inspection Technician to its Quality team.

No previous optical experience is required. Full training will be provided.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working accurately, has a good eye for detail and wants to develop within a technical environment.

The role:

• Inspecting components for defects and quality issues

• Checking products against drawings and specifications

• Recording inspection results accurately

• Updating information within internal systems

• Supporting the wider Quality and Inspection team

• Assisting with quality-related administration

What they're looking for:

• Good attention to detail

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office

• Strong organisational skills

• A reliable and methodical approach

• Previous experience in administration, quality, laboratory, manufacturing or inspection environments would be advantageous but is not essential

• 37.5 hour week - Monday to Thursday 08:30–17:00 & Friday finish at 15:00
