Transport Administrator

Pertemps are recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a leading logistics company based in Basingstoke. This is an ongoing temporary position.
Responsibilities as a Transport Administrator:
- Coordination of import shipments into
- Coordination of export shipments
- Coordination of collections/deliveries within UK and Europe
- Export & Import document creation, validation, consolidation and distribution
- Export/Import customs processes
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers ensuring that they are kept informed and always updated
- Invoicing customers through business software
Requirements:
- Experience working with freight forwarders is advantageous
- Good understanding of haulage and shipments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Innovative and resourceful
- Highly organised and able to work well under pressure
The Role:
- Monday – Friday
- 7.30am – 4pm
- £13.50 - £15.80 per hour depending on experience
