Transport Clerk
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:00
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Clerk to join a busy and fast-paced transport office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration or transport experience who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has great attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing transport paperwork and delivery documentation.
- Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Supporting the transport team with daily administrative tasks.
- Updating internal systems accurately and efficiently.
- Handling Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
- Assisting with driver queries and general transport office duties.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience within a transport, logistics, or administration role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage a varied workload.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
