Transport Clerk

Location: Hemel Hempstead
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:00

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Clerk to join a busy and fast-paced transport office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration or transport experience who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing transport paperwork and delivery documentation.
  • Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
  • Supporting the transport team with daily administrative tasks.
  • Updating internal systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Handling Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
  • Assisting with driver queries and general transport office duties.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience within a transport, logistics, or administration role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage a varied workload.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
