Transport Coordinator

Location: Newark.
Salary: c£27,753.18 - £28,753.18
Rapier Employment are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our client as a Transport Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- To manage and coordinate daily yard activity across inbound and outbound activity.
- Control and optimise trailer movements ac ross the yard supporting shunter activity.
- Reporting: Complete shift performance reports and vehicle defect notes, including breakdown callouts where applicable.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with customer services via email and provide operational updates to the Warehouse and transport teams.
Shift Details:
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off.
- 1 position – Days - 06:00 – 18:00 - £27,752.18
- 1 position – Nights – 18:00 – 06:00 - £28,753.18
Requirements:
- Previous experience in transport coordination or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
