VAN COLLECTION DRIVER- NEWBURY

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our distribution client for a reliable and hardworking Van Collection Driver to join their team in Newbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, is comfortable with customer-facing work and is looking for a consistent Monday-to-Friday role.

Location: Newbury
Pay Rate: £12.71–£13.00 per hour
Working Hours: 08:30–17:00 (finish times may vary depending on the route)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Overtime: Weekend overtime opportunities available

The Role:

• Carrying out collections across an allocated delivery route.
• Driving a company van safely and responsibly.
• Ensuring collections are completed efficiently and professionally.
• Undertaking an element of manual handling throughout the working day.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and health and safety.

✅ Training & Requirements:

• A valid UK driving licence is required (Min 1 years experienced preferred).
• Candidates must complete a driving and health and safety assessment before starting. Please note that this assessment is unpaid.
• Successful candidates will shadow an experienced driver for approximately 2–3 days before taking responsibility for their own route.
• Vehicles are preloaded, helping you get on the road and start your route efficiently.
• A reliable, punctual and professional attitude is essential.
• No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements allowed for insurance purposes.
