We are seeking a talented Van Technician to join a reputable fleet maintenance company based in Croydon, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Technician to operate within a professional environment that values quality and safety. The Van Technician role offers a competitive salary, attractive benefits, and significant career development potential.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of up to £41,000 per year
  • Quarterly bonus of up to £3,000 after six months
  • Overtime available to increase earnings
  • Working Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.30pm
  • Optional Saturday rota (1 in 3), paid as overtime
  • Stable workload with major passenger car and commercial fleet contracts
  • Supportive team environment focusing on quality and safety
Duties of a Van Technician:
  • Conducting servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles, including vans such as Vivaro, Sprinter, and Crafters
  • Performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on brakes, clutches, suspension, turbochargers, and timing belts
  • Handling warranty work and some gearbox repairs (outsourced outside warranty)
  • Maintaining vehicles ranging from 6 months to 5-6 years old
  • Managing a high-volume workload of over 20 vehicles per day
  • Ensuring all work complies with company procedures and safety standards
Requirements of a Van Technician:
  • Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
