Salary: £17.00-£21.00 per hour DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x | Overtime available

Are you an experienced Van Technician, LCV Technician, Vehicle Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a new opportunity around Heathrow?

We are recruiting for a skilled and qualified Van Technician to join an established dealership in Heathrow. You'll play an important role in keeping customers' vehicles safe, compliant and on the road, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LCV Technician looking to join a supportive technical team that genuinely invests in its people, with ongoing training, annual appraisals and opportunities for career progression.

The Role

  • Carry out major and minor repairs to light commercial vehicles, vans, trailers and other vehicles
  • Perform servicing, preventative maintenance and general inspections
  • Carry out diagnostics and vehicle repairs
  • Identify worn and faulty components in accordance with DVSA standards
  • Assist with diagnosing faults and planning vehicle repairs
  • Provide roadside repair services in emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicles repaired or worked on
  • Complete all relevant documentation, paperwork and warranty claims
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
  • Maintain workshop inventory and equipment
  • Escalate technical or warranty issues where required

About You

  • Level 3 qualification in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Van Technician, LCV Technician, Vehicle Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Experience carrying out diagnostic, servicing and repair work
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs
  • Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards
  • Full UK driving licence with the relevant vehicle categories
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, compliant working
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
