Vehicle Dismantler

Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a new and growing business in Bolton upon Dearne for an experienced Vehicle Dismantler.

As a Vehicle Dismantler, you will be responsible for safely dismantling vehicles, identifying reusable parts, and ensuring components are removed efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Job Title: Vehicle Dismantler

Location: Bolton upon Dearne
Salary: Competitive – Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Dismantler:

• Dismantle vehicles safely and efficiently using the appropriate tools and equipment.
• Remove and inspect mechanical, electrical and body components for resale or recycling.
• Accurately identify, label and catalogue vehicle parts.
• Drain and dispose of oils, fuels and other fluids in line with environmental regulations.
• Assess components for quality and report any damaged or unsuitable parts.
• Work with the warehouse team to ensure parts are stored correctly.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Dismantler, Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or within an automotive recycling environment.
• Good mechanical knowledge of cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• The ability to identify vehicle parts accurately.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
