Thrive Group are delighted to be with our client in Westbury who is actively looking to recruit a Vehicle Mechanic to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for inspecting , service and maintain our fleet of trucks and bulk pneumatic discharge trailers
  • Servicing and inspecting all trailers on a rotational basis.
  • MOT completion.
  • Repairing of trailer fleet and minor repairs to the trucks.
  • Fill out & rectify Defects Trailers & minor Defects on Trucks.
What you will need to succeed:
  • Equivalent of City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Engineering.
  • HGV Class 1.
  • Good level of communication and numeracy.
  • Good communication skills specifically at driver level.
  • High level of organisation skills.
What you will receive in return:
  • £48,000 to £52,000 (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday 07.00AM to 17.00PM - 1 hour for lunch
  • Training and development from day one
  • Secure contract, guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime
  • Free on-site parking
