Location: Chingford
Salary: £36,000 Depending on Experience + Uncapped OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm | Saturday Mornings on a Rota
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to the highest manufacturer standards.


Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
- Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards
- Working closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to maintain workshop productivity
- Supporting fellow technicians and contributing to a positive workshop environment
- Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
 
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Experienced Level 2 qualified Technicians with main dealer experience are also encouraged to apply
- Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of manufacturer and vehicle safety standards
- MOT Tester Licence advantageous but not essential
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a busy workshop team
