Vehicle Technician in Essex

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division is supporting a specialist Automotive company with the recruitment of a Vehicle Technician to cover a regional customer base in Essex.

The Vehicle Technician will support the Workshop Operations team by visiting customer sites within a local regional patch. The Vehicle Technician will be fully equipped with a company van and tools with the ability to manage their own time and diary to ensure a prompt response to breakdowns and servicing queries. There is also potential to develop to a Master Tech Level internally.

The role responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician will include:

• All aspects of vehicle maintenance, inspection, fault diagnostics, and repairs
• Travel to customer sites within your designated regional patch
• Completion of accurate service reports 
• Assist the customer when required, with servicing/repairs and associated queries, making appropriate recommendations and upgrades to their fleet vehicles

The Vehicle Technician will need the following qualifications and experience:

• City & Guilds Level 3 vehicle maintenance- HVG/PVC/PSV would be an advantage
• Experience working in a customer facing role with large vehicles such as buses/trains/HGV
• Electric Vehicle/EV and Hybrid Vehicle experience
• Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills
