Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their growing team in York. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and wants to develop their career within a premium automotive environment.
🚗 The Role You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to high manufacturer standards, from routine servicing through to more complex diagnostic and repair work.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete work efficiently and accurately, aiming for first-time fixes
- Follow manufacturer repair and servicing procedures
- Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology and technical developments
- Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
- MOT licence preferred but not essential
- Own tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Willingness to develop your skills through ongoing training
- Basic salary up to £42,500, depending on experience
- £4,000 sign-on bonus
