Vehicle Technician Responisbilities:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently to ensure first-time fixes where possible.
- Following warranty procedures and completing all associated repair documentation accurately.
- Road testing vehicles where required to confirm repairs have been completed to the highest standard.
- Reporting any additional faults or repair requirements to the Workshop Controller.
To be a successful Vehicle Technician applicant:
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
- Expereince working on Light Commercial Vehicles is preferred but not essential.
- Ideally hold a formal qualification to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Must have your own tools.
