Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Diagnose complex vehicle faults across all systems with accuracy
  • Perform routine servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct thorough vehicle health checks and communicate findings effectively to customers
  • Maintain high standards of quality workmanship and ensure first-time fix rates are achieved
  • Collaborate with workshop supervision and team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified Level 3 or above in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Diagnostic certification is highly desirable, preferably from a recognised brand
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for passenger vehicles
  • Confident in all areas of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working in a fast-paced garage environment
  • Ability to make quick, effective decisions aligned with customer and company interests
  • MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
