Duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Identify, observe, and report defects or early signs of vehicle/component failure
  • Complete and sign off all service records, defect reports, and manufacturer paperwork accurately
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections, including MOT assessments
  • Liaise with customers regarding vehicle condition and repair results
  • Ensure vehicles are safeguarded during repairs to prevent damage and maintain cleanliness post-service
  • Attend manufacturer training courses as required
  • Assist in mentoring apprentices when needed
  • Obtain prior approval before fitting unapproved parts and ensure warranty or customer inspection requirements are met
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a Main Dealer environment is preferable
  • A valid UK driving license is essential
  • Strong attention to detail and good customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
