Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Complete work efficiently within set timescales
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and accurately
  • Maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively as part of a professional workshop team
  • Keep detailed records of work carried out and parts used
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Recognised Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification (minimum requirement)
  • Proven experience working within a garage, workshop, MOT centre, or automotive repair environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
