We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading franchised main dealer in Worthing, West Sussex, for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle services and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Follow dealership and brand processes to ensure consistent quality
  • Liaise directly with customers when required to explain repairs and service work
  • Support and mentor less experienced colleagues within the workshop
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and update technical skills as a Vehicle Technician
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Relevant Level 3 NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualification
  • Prior workshop experience within a franchise dealership is essential
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement in technical knowledge
