We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. This is a key role for experienced motor trade professionals looking to advance their careers in a well-established and supportive environment.
Our client offers a Vehicle Technician position that combines excellent remuneration, ongoing development, and a focus on quality customer service.

Duties associated with the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
  • Perform complex repairs including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and brake system replacements
  • Carry out comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify faults and advise on necessary repairs
  • Complete accurate service and repair documentation to high standards
  • Adhere to all safety procedures within a busy workshop environment
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology through ongoing training
  • Deliver professional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a reputable automotive dealership or workshop
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
