- 42.5-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm (paid as overtime)
- Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on a range of cars and light commercial vehicles
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately
- Repair or replace faulty parts following manufacturer standards as a Vehicle Technician
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
- Contribute as part of a team, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards within the workshop environment
- Maintain detailed records of work carried out for each vehicle
- Live within reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with several years of practical experience preferred
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Strong team player with excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- High standard of workmanship and a methodical approach to tasks
- Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
