We are currently seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our client's reputable dealership in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to work within a well-established and supportive team environment.

Our client, a respected family-run business in Wolverhampton, is looking for a Vehicle Technician who can demonstrate a minimum of five years' mechanical experience. The successful Vehicle Technician will be confident in servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a variety of vehicles, including light commercial vehicles. While diagnostic experience is advantageous, it is not essential. The Vehicle Technician role offers genuine career progression and ongoing training, making it ideal for those committed to developing their skills.

Duties:
  • Conducting routine servicing and vehicle maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
  • Completing repairs on vehicles including cars and light commercial vehicles
  • Performing vehicle health checks (VHCs)
  • Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
  • Working efficiently within defined timescales, maintaining high-quality standards
  • Providing excellent customer service from initial vehicle drop-off to completion
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years’ mechanical experience within the automotive sector
  • Confident in servicing, repairs, brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and general vehicle maintenance
  • Diagnostic experience is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT Tester qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship
