We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable automotive business in Horley, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a well-established team that values quality workmanship and staff development.

  • Potential on-target earnings (OTE) of up to £45,000
  • Profit sharing scheme offering additional commission between £200 and £600 per month
  • Monday to Friday working hours, with every other Saturday morning

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics and repairs to high standards
  • Service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Perform routine maintenance such as cambelts, clutches, and mechanical repairs
  • Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical repair knowledge
  • Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles is desirable
  • Relevant industry certifications or qualifications, such as NVQ or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility to perform a range of mechanical tasks and varied hours
