We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Emsworth, Hampshire, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform vehicle repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic equipment to locate and resolve faults efficiently
  • Carry out MOT repairs and assessments as a Vehicle Technician
  • Fit tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension, and other mechanical components
  • Assist with fast-fit services, including wheel alignments and tyre fitting
  • Maintain accurate repair records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide customers with advice on vehicle maintenance and future repairs
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent team working and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated with technological advancements
  • Diagnostic equipment experience is highly desirable
