Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Salisbury, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a well-established business with over 40 years of operation.

  • 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm (with breaks)
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
  • Ensure all work adheres to quality procedures and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and vehicle performance
  • Complete documentation and communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet team targets and uphold dealership standards
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Ideally, 1-2 years of technical experience post-qualification within a franchise-approved dealership (not essential but preferred)
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Committed, motivated, and a team player
  • Ability to produce high-quality work within a fast-paced, stringent dealer environment
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and aim to meet or exceed targets
