We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established main dealer based in Cannock, for the position of Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a rewarding role with genuine career prospects.

Duties:
  • Conducting routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Completing Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs)
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Performing inspections and repairs adhering to manufacturer standards
  • Accurately completing documentation for work performed
  • Road testing vehicles to ensure quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Assisting the wider aftersales team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Supporting workload management during busy periods and staff absences
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position are:
  • Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of main dealer experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic capabilities
  • Ability to work efficiently and to high standards
  • Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
  • Reliable, proactive, and a team player
  • Positive attitude and professional approach
