We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a Vehicle Technician for their facility located in Blaydon, Tyne and Wear. Duties:
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
  • Apply technical knowledge effectively to diagnose and rectify faults
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and health and safety regulations
  • Ensure customer vehicles are returned promptly and in optimal condition
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each service visit
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
  • Ability to work to a high standard with keen attention to detail
  • Strong team-working skills and a proactive approach to learning
  • Awareness of health and safety practices
  • Own set of tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT License is desirable but not essential
  • Applications are encouraged from Vehicle Technicians at all skill levels, from entry level to experienced technicians
This Vehicle Technician role opens opportunities to work for one of the UK’s largest B2B light commercial vehicle providers. The position offers regular hours from Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) with one in four Saturday mornings, with overtime available at time and a half.
