Our client, a leading commercial vehicle specialist with an excellent reputation across the UK, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team in Penrith.   • Working hours: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours), with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Duties:
  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
  • Apply technical knowledge to diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
  • Adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and health and safety regulations
  • Ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers promptly
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out
  • Keep tools and workspace organised and compliant with safety standards
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
  • Successful completion of NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own set of tools
  • MOT License is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work to a high standard and follow safety protocols
  • Strong team player with a keen desire to develop skills and knowledge
  • Good understanding of health and safety compliance
