Our client, a leading multi-franchise car dealer group established across South West England, is seeking a Vehicle Technician for their premium franchise-approved dealership in Salisbury. - Working hours from 8:30 am to 4:30/5:00 pm Monday to Friday (pending a 30/60-minute lunch break) and Saturdays, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on a rota
- Conduct fault diagnosis, vehicle servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and quality standards
- Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy main dealership environment
- Adhere to manufacturer and company procedures regarding vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance
- Work collaboratively within a friendly team environment to meet team targets
- Assist in maintaining workshop efficiency and service delivery standards
- For individuals with an active MOT Smart Card, assist in MOT testing (non-essential but advantageous)
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent; Level 2 qualified technicians undergoing Level 3 training are encouraged to apply
- UK driving licence is essential
- Good team player with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to deliver high standards of service in a fast-paced dealership setting
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and attentive to detail
- Experience working within franchise dealerships preferred
- Applicants with an active MOT Smart Card will be considered advantageous but are not essential
