We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable automotive business near Chorley, Lancashire, for the position of Car & LCV Technician. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent career progression opportunity within a modern, well-equipped workshop environment. - Conduct servicing and repairs on cars and vans to high standards
- Diagnose faults accurately using advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer software
- Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, gearboxes, engines, and electrical systems
- Service and repair trailers where required
- Prepare and present vehicles for MOT testing and inspections
- Conduct roller brake testing and fault diagnosis
- Maintain detailed documentation for each job, including job cards and parts used
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional standards
- Communicate effectively with the Workshop Supervisor regarding tooling or support needs
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Car & LCV Technician with strong diagnostic capabilities
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Own a comprehensive set of tools
- Organised, motivated, and committed to delivering quality results
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
