We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable, family-run dealership in Redhill. The Vehicle Technician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs, primarily focusing on German and other franchise vehicles. This opportunity is ideal for experienced technicians with a strong technical background and a desire to develop within a well-established, customer-focused environment.

  • Competitive basic salary between £35,000 and £45,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Bonus potential of £5,000 - £6,000 OTE annually
  • 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, no weekend work

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing and repairing vehicles according to manufacturer standards, with an emphasis on German and franchise brands
  • Diagnosing complex issues accurately using manufacturer tools and documentation
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Keeping detailed and accurate records of all work performed
  • Contributing effectively to a team environment focused on quality and efficiency
  • Ensuring repairs and servicing meet manufacturer warranty procedures (training provided if required)
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer environment preferred
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of various vehicle systems
  • Ability to complete work efficiently without compromising quality
  • Experience with warranty procedures is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
