We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Derby. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Carry out diagnostic and warranty work accurately
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance including cambelts and general mechanical repairs
  • Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
  • Accurately update job cards and digital records
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
  • Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maintain quality and productivity
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
  • Strong skills in servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and fault finding
  • MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Motivated to learn and progress via manufacturer training
  • Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
