We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealership in Leeds, to recruit a Vehicle Technician. The chosen individual will join a stable and professional environment, offering an excellent opportunity for career progression within the automotive industry. The Vehicle Technician role requires dedication, technical expertise, and a customer-focused approach to ensure high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

  • Basic salary up to £38,000, with an OTE of approximately £43,000
  • Working hours of 40 per week, with additional bonus and overtime opportunities

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Repair and service vehicles to the highest standards
  • Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults effectively
  • Liaise with service advisors, customers, and management to ensure excellent customer service
  • Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults
  • Complete work in compliance with DVSA standards
  • Provide exceptional customer care and support
  • Perform all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required
Requirements:
  • Level 3 IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • MOT licence desirable but not essential
