Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections to the highest standards
  • Fit tyres and perform wheel alignments
  • Carry out brake, exhaust, battery, and suspension repairs
  • Perform MOT repairs and diagnostics using specialised equipment
  • Provide accurate vehicle fault diagnosis and effective repairs as a Vehicle Technician
  • Advise customers on additional repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Follow health & safety procedures and company vehicle inspection protocols
  • Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, maintaining excellent customer service
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Automotive or equivalent qualification 
  • Proven experience in mechanical and fast-fit repairs
  • Strong diagnostic skills and experience with diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of tyres, brakes, suspension, exhausts, and routine servicing
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop setting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
