We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a well-established independent workshop in Oldham. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled VAG Specialist to join a busy team and enhance their professional development. The Vehicle Technician position offers a competitive salary package, dependent on experience and accreditation, with higher rates available for VAG-accredited technicians.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on VAG vehicles
  • Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Perform routine servicing and MOT-related repairs to high standards
  • Complete job cards accurately and maintain detailed records of work carried out
  • Work efficiently to achieve workshop targets without compromising quality
  • Stay updated with VAG-specific technology, systems, and repair procedures
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship consistent with brand standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with strong VAG expertise
  • Confident working on Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Škoda vehicles
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Relevant automotive qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, preferred
  • VAG-accredited technicians are encouraged to apply and will receive higher pay
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Dedicated to producing accurate and high-quality repairs
